Interview with Francesco Sicilia, author of "animamante"
The title of your collection "animamante" describes two fundamental aspects of an individual's life: the awareness of having a soul and the present participle of the verb to love. Double title, double intention
... Yes, even the title is meant to specify / strengthen my conviction of a tangibility of something intangible, an emotional world that has no less (or more) value of the concrete and rational body.
In "on special" you wrote: "the gaze is fixed intently / is almost a substitute for the fingers / as agreed with the approaches / intent to test the extension". Denotes the short to the maturation of their instincts and the need physiological response to the impulse to incarnate the "download" for Freud put it ...
Many verses are - among others - the attempt to cancel the distance between the material and the immaterial, because even in this vividly the love relationship. I see in the abasement (and alive) evolution constructive instinct. The "Download" and also that, to me is just that.
The explicitly erotic anthology connects, as you said, with the universal soul. What is in your hands after wandering in the den of desire? And after having written down?
remains the tangible change. If you lived consciously, the experience gives the change in location that would otherwise be impossible or nearly so. All this happens even after crossing the erotic desire, which for me is something the antithesis of pornography. It 's the difference between the enrichment and consumption.

... For me the explicit becomes "too" when it leaves no room for vision / interpretation of the reader. It is no coincidence that pornography is usually linked to the vision, the visual is an art that more easily than others - in my opinion - in its path ignores the value of understatement. I hope, "animamante" have not lost value this course is always the reader to evaluate.
Tell, tell, proceeding on a road made of words filed, added, removed, changed ... Writing is yet to pursue a dialogue in the words of Moravia?
Especially in the field of poetry, I disagree with those who believe that art is something effectively separated from form. The value of the pregnant form is this: to strengthen dialogue and communication. Would end up working decently enough to know a language be artists, we all have "something to say."
In "no virtual" one reads: "the era of promising virtual / the most 'rewarding orgasms empty /". Are you referring to chat rooms, virtual places full of matter, rooms without walls, without boundaries, in which virtual entities stopping in the darkness with inner ghosts?
I refer to the tremendous opportunities offered by remote communication technology. The "empty" I write about is the lack of physical contact, but it is said that the "virtual orgasms" are even less rewarding than the result of physical contact. It is not a conviction, then, mine. The world today is "more full of loneliness despite the new resources available," let us stop to indulge ridiculous clichés. Communicating over the surface has never been easy and never will be, and can hardly be a more technical means available to promote a collective emotional maturation.
Poetry today is not widely read, why do you think?
answer with a question: when the poem was "widely read"? Fifty years ago? A hundred? A thousand? In reality who knows what it takes to "expose" this latest cliché that circulates today. In all its forms, art is not has never been - alas! - Guide and nutrition for more, and I fear never will be, at this level of consciousness. The anomaly of today (if we consider it such) is that the technical means available and allow some economic prosperity to many people to publish, despite continued and will continue not to read, but speech is very different from the commonplace .
What are your literary references?
Through the art of the written word without - apparently - precise references from which to depart and to which to return. Learn "electrocution", in a sense. For example now I'm reading "Lolita" Nabokov, and I find that his language is amazing.
Who spend your creativity?
Who I love, the soul of the world, who or what bore me in its design that transcends time and space.

... Over time, after years of estrangement, I am learning to "re-loved" my land. I think I lost the preciousness of amazement, in the past. I rediscovered thanks to a fundamental meeting and thanks to one of the most precious gift I have received from writing: the ability to wonder, exactly.
your future projects?
prefer to live the present as much as possible. A couple of weeks ago under the windscreen of the car I found a flyer that advertised ... Carnival. Who knows, maybe we should try to live the present, and when we succeed.
A question that I have not done?
One or one hundred thousand, as in all the interviews, the main thing is that I have addressed are those that go beyond the surface of things, and so I "lived" and interpreted. Thank you, Carina.
