Details Decide on Rome

Capezzone Upon request, I will be eliminated from the first page of my blog "Deciding Rome, symbols and references to his association decidere.net, which had spontaneously joined from birth.
This is to avoid misunderstandings and manipulations by those who read the blog, could be led to think that my "Post" express the current policy of Capezzone (ie Force Italy), particularly regarding the method of "gazebo" for the "democratic participation" of the people of freedom.
the avoidance of doubt, therefore, correct that: everything I've written so far and I will continue to write is only the fruit of my reflections as a free man and liberal, who personally does not represent, nor do I have never represented anyone, that the time and cost of my activities have never been rewarded by anyone (... and also why I consider myself completely free to express my thoughts).
Since I identify more fully in the liberal principles and then shared points of the program, not blot the pages and articles of those moments when we believed in the birth of a new way of doing politics and the possibility of developing a project of the liberal network, a project that I'm willing to take forward with anyone who still believes.
The name of the blog will be what I chose at the time of its opening.
A greeting to my (few) friends and readers,
William Faithful

Murmur Of The Heart Erection

The Gazebo of the PDL. A farce which deadens the spirit of liberal and democratic participation in the fledgling People of Freedom of the Press

publishing the article by Fabio Massimo Fabrizio
GAZEBAO
Saturday, December 13, 2008 12:46
begins today 's election of delegates of the PDL in the gazebo over the city.

"Tomorrow the Gazebo of Shame" [SB]
"Vote NO to the blocked list and write MARCO FOLLINI: whether to vote in protest, a protest that is fierce!" [GP]
"A nice plug for a ride" [ES]
"Neither the Democratic Party would be able to conceive such smut!" [CN]
"We have a moral duty to denounce this scandal on every liberal blog, aggregator socialnetwork ... and possibly also in print!" [GN]

These are some of the comments (and, moreover, the most polite) that rage on the net regarding the method of voting delegates to the National Congress of the PDL.
But beware: they emerge exclusively in blogs and social networks of the PDL expressly referring to liberal principles.
E 'singular fact, that in the think-tank pidiellino, which includes the West, the Ircocervo, on Sunday, RagionPolitica and Velino, only the liberal "Tocqueville" who dares, with a fund of Nicola Vacca, to address the problem.
The other, almost to retaliation concerned, you are thrown on the "no-primary PD" in the best traditions of Italy parabolic educated under the heading: "the mote and beam."

However, despite my declared authentic and transparent to the PDL, my readers know me for free man. And I do not want to give up this freedom, my only reason for being, in front of a "political reasons" that, given the delicacy of the moment and the relations of friendship and trust with several members of the PDL, I would require to be silent.
So, I try to give that explanation to link much more authoritative than I have, perhaps wisely, been able to escape with grace and witty insight.
The current election of delegates to the gazebo have been put through the propaganda machine of the PDL as a great comeback of the people elector, as a liberal revolution of a party that starts from the bottom. Someone mentioned the symbol of participatory inverted pyramid. Others have launched the most audacious comparison with the American method (we speak of Ministers and institutional leaders of the PDL, not a loose cannon).

Allow me, then, a gentle perplexity over this, because, to dig, we find that the method chosen has very little to do with the great American democracy.
the gazebo will be presented with two fact sheets. The first list contains the names of 174 throughout the region selected by the regional coordination in collaboration with the local ones (ie, all co-opted from the top). They will be voted together as a whole (ie, blocked lists), with a YES or a NO.

If the voter votes no, should move to the second sheet, which indicate the names of its candidates instead. But beware: the voting rule requires consideration of Only these candidates as an alternative only if the first list (the blocked) does not reach 50% + 1 vote. Which, honestly, it could be possible only for the likes of Siskins here in Arezzo, Arezzo virtue of memory that your dedicated engineer. But faced with a list of a whole region as well set, not even a Montezemolo succeed. I would say that everything has been designed specifically so.

Well, per se, these requirements on the First Republic, it would be worse than we are accustomed to for years.
First, because these candidates, for reasons evident, will weigh far less than their co-opted by appointment, which are all harbingers of previous elective office not only legitimized by elections and congresses, but also close in time to post.
Then, because reasoning with Cardinal Armand Jean Duplessis, Duc de Richelieu, I think politically suicidal really give up the party to voters, after a very recent and hard-fought season conference, which built a new political class in territorial the coalition that now governs the country absolutely can not do without. Third
because, in Tuscany, the local leaderships have proved, in the choices, unusually far-sighted: the list included many delegates young and very young, with a large number of women, for whom, also saw the personal knowledge I have of them - and not just here in Arezzo - I can only express my sincere praise and appreciation.

However (and forgive me) in front of the keyboard I also try to take the side of the center of the unaware voters who now go to the gazebo, and ponder: If this had been stated in a clear and transparent from the beginning , the voter would have probably shrugged, waiting for right time for real primary, but appreciating the sincerity and efforts being made for renewal in the choice of candidates. Instead
here for months that it comes to this election as if the voter had in his hands and decisive decision-making powers that really does not even possess remotely.

one thing to say: we need to do so because we can not do otherwise, but in doing so, we will give it all to renew the party and carry the young. So it is honest. Another is to pass that
understandable (though not historically justifiable) as chosen by an electoral body made that in reality, it turns out, forgive me, and blow horns.

In conclusion: we are voting with serenity, confidence and ability to judge what others have chosen to mount the best thing for us as possible.
But please, do not bother the sacred liberal principles of real democracy (especially American) because, as things are illusion only suitable for dreamers like me.
Moreover, in Arezzo says, "When the going gets soft, not hard to s'artorna.
